Kat’s car made a funny sound and the check oil light came on. She was very low on oil. Clay changed her oil and rotated her tires. Welcome back from vacation!

We had fun exploring the little communities of Douglas and Saugatuck. We rode our bikes to Holland as well and dropped in on my college roommate Tory at her antique shop (I forgot to take a pic). By the time we rode back to our motel, we had ridden 30 (!!!!) miles.
Our cute motel
Apparently these communities are very inclusive. It appears to be the place gay couples retire (we didn’t know this when planning our trip). There were rainbow flags everywhere-even on the crosswalks. Ha! Everyone was very friendly.

After all the riding, we decided we wanted steak for dinner. Bowdie’s in Saugatuck was one of the best meals I have ever had!

We met Grandpa and LuLu in the Indianapolis area so they could take Elliott and Lucy home with them for a week. Clay and I headed north three hours to Michigan.
We ate outside in July and it wasn’t hot!
We rode bikes around town and stopped for root beer floats before heading on to the beach.

I went downstairs to do laundry and found these four hanging out. I love that they hang out!

Happy Birthday, Bapaw!
Elliott had his first golf tournament yesterday morning. Last night he had practice. After practice, he and a friend went to Top Golf. That is a lot of golf for one day.
Clay, Lucy, and I went to dinner after we attended the parent meeting for the golf team. Then we got a treat.
Here are some pictures church posted from Student Impact Week:

It was very humid outside at camp yesterday. We had some strong storms come through late afternoon.

These were my breakfast buddies every morning.

Starting the morning out running a beauty salon at camp (teasing… we did braid quite a few girls’ hair).

This was my attempt at the zip line over the lake. My hands slipped right off the bars and down I went, taking a kid with me.

We celebrated Bapaw’s birthday last night
We made it home from camp! I am tired, but it was a lot of fun!
